KPMG needed to upgrade internal reporting capabilities to remain compliant with regulators.
Being one of the biggest in your industry, and the world, comes with its specific challenges. One of them being that when critical issues arise, rarely do Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solutions work. The issues you’re going to face from a technology perspective will often require you to come up with a custom solution.
One of the major requirements KPMG came to us with was the ability to upgrade their internal reporting capabilities on the fly, eliminating the need for internal stakeholders to come back to their desks or work device to report something they may have witnessed.
Whilst upgrading and innovating their capabilities on their enterprise infrastructure (see below), we coded strategically anticipating a mobile version of said features and functions. This allowed us to not only deliver consistency in the solution, but expedite delivery to get it to testing phase.
KPMG already had internal reporting capabilities, but their system was becoming ourdated and struggled to communicate with other critical systems that made up their infrastructure. We were able to completely renovate their reporting functionality by leveraging emerging technology and creating all the APIs the system would need to communicate to other internal and external applications and stakeholders.
