YaYaa Career & UpSkill Academy was founded to help companies develope and upskill their staff but first they needed to get an identity in the marketplace.

By partnering with YaYaa Career & UpSkill Academy, employers not only prove that they’re walking to walk of developing internal talent, but drastically reduce turnover and employee burnout.
We worked hand in hand with Yayaa to design and develop their brand, logo, guidebook, content and also develop the company strategy.
The biggest expense for most businesses is payroll, which makes employees somewhat of an investment. The longer their tenure, the more valuable to the company they become. With millennials taking over the labor force, there’s been a free fall in tenure in the labor market as job-hopping has become the new norm. So how do you combat this?
YaYaa Academy is your solution. Contrary to popular belief, compensation is NOT the main reason employees leave jobs, but rather a lack of development. Businesses that partner with YaYaa know they investing back into their biggest asset: their people.
According to Saul Bass, ‘logos are the graphic extension of the internal realities of a company’. The simple truth is that your logo conveys your reality to your audience, and we wanted to communicate YaYaa’s love and passion for professional development – both to enterprises and individuals – to their audience.
After sitting down with the team at YaYaa, and ideating on strategies to support their vision, we then entered the draft process and began spitting out low fidelity options to get an idea of where they wanted to head with the design, then hammered down on their preferences to arrive at a strong extension of YaYaa’s reality

Any piece of collateral your audience comes across should ideally lead to them being galvanized to act, especially if they fit the ICP (Ideal Candidate Profile). When that doesn’t happen, you need a guidebook to centralize and stabilize your messaging, given you’re most likely confusing your audience or conveying an inconsistent promise.
With YaYaa Academy looking to penetrate both consumer and commercial markets, they faced a daunting challenge of being a mega-disruptor. Luckily, they came to the brand experts and we were able to architect a guidebook for them that intricately broke down each and every aspect of their brand and how it’s supposed to interact with their respective audience under different scenarios and circumstances.
