Diaspreneurs-DFW was in need of a strategic partner to help them launch the biggest aggregation of small business and career resources in the history of Texas.
Even the fringe minorities of small business owners who are aware of the resources available to them, don’t know where they’re located given there are a plethora of groups in the DFW that support small business through events and resources. The question now was how do you aggregate all those events, tools, and resources from so many deferent organizations under one roof and then facilitate the nurturing of the disenfranchised communities that those resources served.
Diaspreneurs-DFW knew they were bringing immense value to the market. But how to align all of that in a conducive manner where the right people got the right resources, proved to be more difficult than imagined, especially when dealing with millions of data points from hundreds of organizations (including government, non-profit, and private sector) across the metroplex.
We were able to identify an area of value that stood to get the attention of local sponsors: digitally cultivating and nurturing a digital community of thousands of disenfranchised people and businesses, and offering to be the middle man between the organizations trying to help and those needing assistance. Using their blog strategically to drive engagement and participation in the email campaigns, we were able to help Diaspreneurs scale within months to the biggest of its kind in the history of Texas.
Social media strategy encompasses a lot of things but what Diaspreneurs-DFW desperately needed assistance with, on top of everything else, was nurturing and cultivating a digital community through social media. 80% of an organization’s support typically comes from 20% of it’s core users, or ‘superfans’. By nurturing a community of thousands of superfans, we’re able to drive engagement consistently to the groups offering resources to the community through our platform. The more engagement they get, that means more disenfranchised people who are finally receiving he assistance and resources they need.
